Are you social?

It was a rainy morning, but it didn’t stop the grocery fronting our apartment to launch a canned tuna product. It almost seemed like the booming sound would just rip my head off –no, I’m just being silly. But seriously, the music was just too loud that the vibration made my deodorant fall off from my desk, that’s how loud it was. And while surfing the internet, it made my mind wander off and thought about different kinds of advertising, I used to have a classmate at school who works for a Social Media Agency where they center on advertising contents to entice customers and possible new clients to engage in their business. Nowadays, we have a lot of social networking sites that have advertisements and offers plastered on the sidebars, even inviting bloggers to write about a particular product as part of their way of communicating and building up customer base. If you’d notice, the internet has a lot of various tools being offered to even webmasters to try, and allow them to gain more traffic for their websites as a way of building their business online. For example, Bravenet have so many webmaster tools they offer from counters to mail forms and now blogs to expand their impressions on online business. But the difference from doing it all by yourself from acquiring service from a Social Media Agency, they are the ones doing the job for you to spread your brand all over the internet and you can expect a good turn around as well.

An inviting idea

I noticed that a lot of companies are really investing in promotional as compared to the previous years. This observation was brought about, by the school bag that my daughter got from school. It has the basic school necessities like crayons, notebooks and pencils, pencil sharpener and a pencil case. And sometimes you’d find it funny because with all the brands that stick from the outside of the bag down to the labels on the pencils, you wouldn’t know from which company the package came from. Before when my children were still babies, after each check-up or if we’d have our scheduled vaccine the nurses would give us freebies. Usually a vitamin and milk sample in a cute transparent bag, sometimes it’s like a kiddy meal it includes a toy. Of course doctors are also getting paid for each sale they get from these. For example, my doctor recommended a multi-vitamin for kids and when I proved it, it became a regular name on our grocery list. If there’s a promotional that really entices people to buy from a company, you’d agree with me on freebies! I admit that I’m guilty of indulging myself with free samples, free tastes, join a game to win free promotional pens and t-shirts. And my son shares this insanity with me, because he also has a knack in finding a good deal when it comes to promotional items, may it be answer a particular question about a product, filling out surveys, and the likes. These promotional items really help companies to boost marketing and sales, because as simple as promotional bags that local officials provide public schools that most of the time bears the logo of their municipality or the face of the official himself, you’d know about a particular product that might interest you. The trick here is to make the campaign remembered by people, and the more these company names are exposed to people, the more chances that consumers will find them.

How does the past outline steam?
